Yes, it's been awhile since I've posted here. But rest assured, RVers are still losing their awnings as they travel down the highway. And I'm still selling RV Awning Travel Locks to greatly reduce the chance that you will lose yours.
Recently, I learned of an incident in Florida in which a lady was very seriously injured as a result of a "lost awning" event. This was some time ago, but now there is a lawsuit in which the injured person is trying to obtain compensation for the expenses and problems caused by the event.
Even if there is not a lawsuit, you don't want this to happen to you.
And if there is a lawsuit (think hundreds of thousands of dollars), you really don't want it to happen to you.
There are several ways to prevent it. Some you can do yourself. Some are a bit more expensive than others. Some detract from the appearance of your coach.
